The Hatch Library

Institutional, Millwork

Bay Path University’s Hatch Library in Western Massachusetts has a history of change. Once transformed by the university from a church facility to library, it has undergone various remodeling upgrades to improve its functions as a learning center. The latest renovation, performed by TSA, consisted of overall interior improvements of trims, wall surfaces, state of art floating ceiling and lighting systems, electrical and data upgrades and new flooring. TSA’s expertise in such renovations resulted in a timely completion of the projects despite delays due to uncovered existing conditions requiring remediation. With our network of subcontractors and skilled in-house professionals, we were able to work through those challenges often encountered in remodeling work in an efficient and economical manner. (next paragraph) The excellent results of the work at Hatch Library were met with an enthusiastic approval by University staff and students alike. The Director of Library and Information Services, Michael J. Moran summed it up well, “We wanted to make it as easy as possible for our students to achieve academic success, and now we have a beautiful space in which to do it.”
